Terms and condition of services
1. Introduction
Welcome to The Canine Residency. By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which govern all interactions and transactions between The Canine Residency and its clients. Please read them carefully.
2. Services Offered
The Canine Residency provides premium daycare, boarding, grooming, physiotherapy, training, and shuttle services for dogs. All services are subject to availability and compliance with our eligibility requirements.
3. Eligibility Requirements
The Canine Residency only accepts dogs that are social, non-aggressive, and not categorised under dangerous dog classifications. Dogs that exhibit behavioural issues, including aggressive or unsafe conduct, will not be accepted. If a dog’s behavior differs from what was indicated during registration, The Canine Residency reserves the right to:
Remove the dog from the group and place it in a safe space (crate) until the end of the daycare period.
Transport the dog back to the drop-off location following daycare schedule, using a secure transport cage.
Dogs must be spayed or neutered by 7 months of age. Failure to comply may result in termination of services.
To ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs in our care, owners must confirm that their dog:
Is sociable with other dogs and humans.
Is comfortable with car rides.
Is sterilized.
Is up-to-date with vaccinations as per our health policy.
All dogs must be free from contagious diseases, and any signs of illness will result in the denial of service. Acceptance of these health and vaccination requirements is mandatory during the booking process.
Note: If vaccinations are renewed on the day of their expiry, dogs must wait 24-48 hours before entering the facility.The Canine Residency reserves the right to refuse service if any of these conditions are not met or if the information provided by the owner is found to be inaccurate.
4. Reservations and Cancellations
4.1 Reservation Conditions
Reservations can be made up to 1 day hour before the service time, subject to availability.
Modifications in booking are subject to validation by The Canine Residency and are accepted up to 2 days before the reserved service.
Cancellations are accepted up to 3 days before the reserved service for a full refund.
Extended weekends: cancellation are accepted up to 14 days before the service, and can be modified up to 7 days in advance.
Holidays: cancellation are accepted up to 1 month before the service, and can be modified up to 1 month in advance.
4.2 Cancellations by The Canine Residency
The Canine Residency reserves the right to cancel any booking under the following circumstances:
The dog does not meet the eligibility criteria (e.g., not sterilized, not sociable, or not suitable for transportation).
The daycare has reached full capacity, in which case priority will be given first to subscribers, then to existing clients.
Unforeseen internal or external circumstances (e.g., staff shortages, transport issues).
4.3 Additional fees
Direct home drop-off in the evening: 30,00€ per drop-off.
On school holidays, home pick-up or drop-off out of Saturdays and Sundays: 40,00€ per ride.
4.4 Drop-off and pick up time
Clients are required to strictly adhere to the following drop-off and pick-up schedule:
Monday to Friday: Pick-up between 8:30 AM and 8:55 AM, and drop-off between 6:45 PM and 7:15 PM.
Holiday and extended weekends: Flexible pick-up hours are available on Saturdays and Sundays during school holidays.
Failure to respect these times will result in additional charges or denial of future services.
4.5 Direct home drop-off
The Canine Residency offers a direct home drop-off service, with limited places per day and available exclusively in the following Parisian areas: 7ème, 8ème, 6ème West, and 16ème North. This service takes place after the regular daycare schedule, starting from 7:15 PM. Drop-off times are estimates and may be subject to delays due to traffic conditions, unforeseen road incidents, or other logistical constraints beyond our control.
Clients must ensure their availability at the scheduled drop-off time. If the client is absent, unreachable, or fails to provide access to the drop-off location, the dog will be returned to The Canine Residency, and the service fee will remain due in full. In such cases, the client will be charged an additional fee as the dog stays under The Canine Residency Care outside of subscribed hours.
Additionally, this service is only provided if all payments are up to date. The Canine Residency reserves the right to refuse or suspend this service in case of outstanding payments, recurrent non-compliance, or any situation that may pose logistical or operational risks.
4.6 Direct home pickup and drop-off for holidays and extended weekends
For home drop-offs and pickups during holidays and extended weekends, due to potential variations in traffic and routing, we cannot guarantee an exact pickup drop-off time.
While we strive to ensure a timely and seamless service, The Canine Residency is not liable for any delays caused by unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to traffic conditions, weather, or road closures. For safety reasons, dog parents must ensure someone is available to receive their dog upon arrival.
If no one is present, additional fees may apply for extended care or an alternative arrangement.

5. Subscription Services
The Canine Residency offers three subscription packages:
1-day/week
2-days/week
3-days/week
For each subscription package, dog owners are required to select a fixed day(s) of the week for their dog's attendance, which shall remain consistent throughout the subscription period. Exceptionally, if the selected day(s) cannot be attended within a given month, dog owners may request a replacement day within the same week, subject to availability and prior approval by the daycare. All subscriptions are for a 3-month commitment.
5.1 Subscription Terms
Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 1 month before the renewal date.
Subscription days are not flexible nor transferable within the subscription period.
If a subscriber books a holiday stay, their subscription will be paused for the duration of the holiday period, ensuring no loss of subscription days.
5.2 Subscription Termination
Subscriptions can only be canceled with 1 month’s notice before the renewal period. No refunds are given for early termination unless this notice is provided.
Misuse of the service, repeated cancellations, or failure to meet eligibility conditions may result in termination without refund.
6. Payment Terms
6.1 Payment Methods
All payments are required at the time of booking.
Clients can choose from subscription-based or non-subscription payments.
6.2 Subscription Payments
Subscription payments are auto-renewable unless canceled 1 month before the end of the subscription period.
No refunds are provided unless the subscription is canceled in accordance with the termination policy.
6.3 Non-Subscription Payments
Cancellations are allowed up to 24 hours before the service for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the service will not be refunded.
7. Shuttle Service
The Canine Residency offers complimentary shuttle service from Champ de Mars and Porte de la Muette, aligning with our daycare hours.
For holiday subscribers, flexible Saturday and Sunday pick-up times are available during school holiday periods.
8. Liability
The Canine Residency takes all necessary precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs in our care. However, we cannot be held liable for:
Injuries or accidents caused by other animals or the natural environment.
Illnesses or medical conditions that develop during or after the dog’s stay.
Behavior issues not disclosed by the owner prior to the stay.
By accepting these Terms and Conditions, clients agree to assume full financial responsibility for any medical or veterinary care required during or after their dog’s stay.
9. Termination of Services
The Canine Residency reserves the right to refuse or terminate services at any time if:
A dog is found to be unsterilized, categorized as dangerous, or displaying aggressive or disruptive behavior.
The daycare has reached capacity, in which case existing clients will be prioritized.
The client fails to provide accurate information regarding the dog's behavior or health.
For subscription clients, termination of services must be requested at least one month before the contract ends. Failure to do so will result in automatic renewal.
10. Force Majeure
All dogs must be free from contagious diseases, and any signs of illness will result in the denial of service. Acceptance of these health and vaccination requirements is mandatory during the booking process.
